Guide Anesthesia is seeking a skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team. Contracts available in multiple formats including 2 week on/off rotations, with exchanging between group members as able/desired.
Banner Desert Medical Center
- 615 bed non profit teaching hospital that has been serving in the East valley community since 1973.
- Level I trauma center, it offers comprehensive services, including emergency care, surgery, orthopedics, intensive care and neurology.
- Guide's agreement covers a specific service line within this hospital while another group handles call and weekends.
Banner Heart Hospital
- Small facility with high volume procedures specializing in vascular and cardiac services with a strong focus on dialysis access work.
- This practice maintains a lower extremity vascular program.
- The case mix demonstrates a comprehensive vascular surgery practice.

Anesthesiology Service Times and Staffing Models
Banner Desert:
- Compensation is paid for on site time at the hospital and not tied to specific case volume or payor mix.
- FT position (2,080 hours annually).
- 26 weeks on/26 weeks off:
- M-Th (26 weeks, 4 days, 10.5 hour days): $327,600
- M-F (26 weeks, 5 days, 10 hour days: $390,000)
- Hourly breakdown: $300/hour
- Additional profit sharing available and is based on group performance.
Banner Heart:
- Six person team rotating in pairs (2 weeks on/2 weeks off), with 3 teams total.
- Work expectations include:
- Approximately 43 hours per week
- 3 hours of weekday call/evening cases
- 6-8 hours weekend call with light callback duty
- Day off after each call shift
- $300/hour for on-site clinical time.
- $700 per weeknight call.
- $1500 per weekend call.
- Full time compensation is based on a 2-on/2-off rotation with about 2,000 clinical hours per year, one weekday call per week, and one weekend call per month.
Crossover Between Facilities:
- Depending on the surgical schedule, there may be times Physicians are required to cover between these two sites, as well as our "Downtown" Phoenix sites, including: Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital, Core Institute Specialty Hospital, and Banner University Medical Center.

Qualifications
- Board certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist.
Experience in vascular and Cath Lab procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
