Guide Anesthesia is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our Supplemental Team at The Orthopaedic Institute – Orthopaedic Surgery Center (OSCG) in Gainesville, Florida. This opportunity is designed for physicians seeking a flexible supplemental schedule while becoming part of a collaborative, long-term outpatient practice.
This is a practice opportunity, not a temporary locums assignment. Physicians provide vacation coverage while working alongside an experienced team of surgeons, CRNAs, and clinical staff in a premier orthopedic ambulatory surgery center. The practice offers predictable scheduling, an efficient outpatient workflow, and a high-volume orthopedic case mix.
This position is ideal for anesthesiologists looking for schedule flexibility, excellent compensation, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships within a well-established ASC.

Compensation Summary
1099 Independent Contractor
Supplemental Team
- $325/hour
- 8-hour daily guarantee
- Minimum Daily Compensation: $2,600
- Minimum commitment of four days per month
Scheduling
- Vacation coverage
- Minimum of four days per month
- Standard ASC business hours
- 8-hour daily guarantee
- Predictable outpatient schedule
- No long-term call commitment
- No weekends
- No holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for orthopedic outpatient surgical procedures
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered anesthesia care
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Orthopedic and ambulatory surgery center experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative practice skills
