JUNE 11th, 2016 – Arizona Anesthesia Solutions (AzAS), Arizona’s leader in outpatient anesthesia services, partnered with Dr. Ralph Price, DDS of Price Periodontics and Implants, and Wiand Dental Lab to offer dental professionals continuing education in airway management.  Additionally the course was also approved by the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners for those pursuing their 1304 permit.  The course was designed for dental professionals and their staff who are currently or planning on offering sedation services in their office or center.  The course covered relevant anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, monitoring, airway equipment and instrumentation, as well as recognition and treatment of complications.  Shari Burns, PhD, CRNA and Midwestern University generously supplied high-fidelity airway simulation mannequins for the hands-on simulation portion of the course.  Arizona Anesthesia Solutions provides anesthesia services throughout the entire state of Arizona, and is available to speak at conferences at lectures on a variety of topics.
