Guide Anesthesia is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our growing team at Sand Lake Surgery Center (SLSC) in Orlando, Florida. This physician-led outpatient practice offers exceptional autonomy, strong compensation, and flexible scheduling options designed to support both professional fulfillment and work-life balance.
Sand Lake Surgery Center is an established ambulatory surgery center featuring three operating rooms and two procedure rooms with a case mix heavily focused on orthopedics, complemented by select general surgery procedures. Physicians work within a collaborative anesthesia care team while maintaining significant clinical independence and leadership responsibility.
The anesthesia model is designed around physician leadership and efficient ASC operations. Physicians float between rooms while supporting CRNAs who practice with a high degree of autonomy. This creates an efficient, team-oriented environment focused on outstanding patient outcomes and provider satisfaction.
Providers interested in regional anesthesia will find ample opportunities to perform nerve blocks and mentor CRNAs in advanced regional techniques.

Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Interest in regional anesthesia preferred
Compensation Summary
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Primary Team Rate: $340/hour
Schedule
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Two Weeks On / Two Weeks Off Option
- Traditional Full-Time Schedule (5 days per week, 46 weeks annually)
- Outpatient surgery center hours
- No call
- No weekends
- No holidays
