Guide Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our Primary Team at University Medical Center – Surgical Hospital East in El Paso, Texas. Compensation Summary
1099 Independent Contractor
Primary Team
- $215/hour
- Annualized Earnings: Approximately $430,000
Daily Compensation
- Minimum Daily Earnings: $1,720 (8-hour day)
- Maximum Daily Earnings: $1,935 (9-hour day)
Scheduling
- 5-day (40-hour) guarantee available
- 4-day (32-hour) guarantee available
- Typical 8 to 9-hour workdays
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holiday coverage
- One daytime home call rotation per week for Primary Team providers
Time Off
- Up to six weeks of time off annually
- Seven major holidays observed
Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Texas licensure or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Hospital anesthesia experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative MD-CRNA practice model
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for hospital-based surgical procedures
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and hospital personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Deliver safe, patient-centered anesthesia care while supporting a collaborative team environment
